Scope and permitted use
Ascend Research supplies biochemical reference materials solely for lawful in vitro laboratory research by qualified researchers and institutions. Products are not sold for personal use, human consumption or administration to humans or animals.
Who may order
Purchasers must be at least 21 years old and have the training, facilities and authorization necessary to handle the materials for lawful laboratory research. By ordering, you confirm that you meet these requirements and will comply with applicable laws and your institution's safety procedures. We may request further information or decline orders that appear inconsistent with these restrictions.
Uses that are not permitted
- Human consumption or administration by any route.
- Veterinary use or administration to animals.
- Clinical, diagnostic, therapeutic or disease-prevention use.
- Use as a food, dietary supplement, cosmetic, medicine or consumer product.
- Resale or supply for any prohibited use.
No medical or product-safety claims
Products are not approved for human or veterinary use. Website information and support responses are research-reference information, not medical advice, instructions for personal use or a representation of safety or efficacy. We do not provide personal-use dosing or administration guidance.
Laboratory handling
Research materials may be hazardous. Purchasers are responsible for appropriate risk assessment, laboratory controls, protective equipment, storage and lawful disposal. Review available safety documentation and product-specific information before handling. Contact support if information needed for your laboratory's assessment is missing.
Certificates and testing
Where provided, Certificates of Analysis identify the laboratory, lot, methods and reported results. Results apply only to the specific lot and tests described. They do not establish suitability or safety for human, veterinary, diagnostic or therapeutic use, and are not regulatory approval.
